Nature inspires art…

Nature has always been a profound inspiration for me, leading to capture the essence of nature in my artworks that celebrate its beauty and evoke emotions.

Style and inspiration

Growing up by the beautiful surrounding nature, shaped my personality and determined my professional artistic life. My work is pure reflection of the compassion towards nature, animals, still life and people with focus on the atmosphere, composition, light and coloring.

My style involves multiple layering of clean and vivid colors, tones and shadows using a number of techniques such as oil, acrylic, watercolors and mixed technique. Ink and pen are also always in the sphere of my interests as they allow me to create the fine details, depth and contrasts.

Biography

I have graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Croatia, Europe, as a Professor of Fine Arts (1984 – 1989).

Since 1996 I have lived in Boston, MA, where I became a member of Art Assoociations of Winchester, Cambridge, Weymouth and Quincy, along with being an active participant in many group art exhibitions and three solo exhibitions.

I have received numerous awards including first prizes, best in show, honorable mentions and compliments from my art colleagues.
